Launch of the 2014 Hampshire Food Festival

The sun was shining, the sparkly was flowing and there were smiles all round at the launch of Hampshire Fare's 2014 Food Festival yesterday evening at Leckford Farm Estates.

The Festival was officially launched by chefs Angela Hartnett and Luke Holder of the Limewood Hotel, who sang the praises of Hampshire's vast array of producers, many of whom were there to show off their wares. Delicious cheeses, biscuits, pies, ice creams and salads were all available for tasting, washed down with beers from Upham Brewery and sparkling wine from Hattingley Valley as well as Leckford's own vintage.

The Festival itself runs throughout July with a vast range of events and activities for connoisseurs and families alike.
