Promoting tourism in print for 2015

The demand for the tangible brochure is still high within the tourism industry. Whilst online resources, including sites such as Trip Advisor, offer an invaluable service, the idea of a high quality piece of print is still appealing to many. For 2015, Starfish has worked with Visit Surrey, Guildford Borough Council, Visit Worthing and Visit Wiltshire to design and print appealing brochures illustrating the best that these areas have to offer the visitor.

We have certainly seen a shift in the focus and content in the twelve years Starfish has been producing Visitor Guides, with the emphasis more on a pictorial and engaging overview of what to see and do through the year. Just like any other marketing brochure, their function is to promote and showcase a unique offering, in this case a wealth of tourist attractions, events and festivals and, of course, to attract new visitors from both within the UK and abroad.
