This year the launch of the Hampshire Food Festival took place in the picturesque grounds of The Pig Hotel in Brockenhurst.
The sun was shining, the Hattingley Valley bubbly was cold, and the local suppliers were out in force showing off the amazing range of produce currently coming out of Hampshire. From cheese to marshmallows and coffee to gin, the range of artisanal businesses was inspiring.
Whilst being entertained with music from the Spitfire Sisters, and a cookery demo by the boys from The Pig Hotel (doing great things with a local trout!) we munched, crunched and slurped our way around the garden and left with a very well stocked goody bag.
The Food Festival itself runs throughout July into the first weekend of August and you can view the full programme of events here.
